Dr. Charlie Wall-Andrews is a prominent leader and scholar in Canada’s creative industries, recognized for her work in innovation, diversity, and leadership.
As Executive Director of the SOCAN Foundation, she has over a decade of experience supporting creative entrepreneurs.
Charlie holds a Ph.D. from the Ted Rogers School of Management and has taught at institutions like the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University. She founded the TD Incubator for Creative Entrepreneurship and the Women in Music Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program.
In 2023, Charlie received the YWCA Toronto Women of Distinction Award and was named one of Billboard Canada’s Women in Music honorees in 2024. A published researcher, Wall-Andrews holds a BA and MA in ethnomusicology, an MBA, and several prestigious fellowships, including the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship. She also serves on the Canada Council for the Arts Board. Charlie is committed to advancing a more inclusive, innovative future for the creative industries.
